John Russo

John Russo has spent his thirty-year career delivering innovative technology and business solutions for complex challenges and opportunities. A senior partner in BINEC since 2007, John has ten years of experience in technology staffing and consulting, and over 20 years of experience as a senior technology executive in financial services.

As CIO of Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management, John led the International Division through its rapid global expansion by defining strategic division blue prints and overseeing major business and technology initiatives. His knowledge and understanding of innovative technology strategies, coupled with his global business acumen, enabled large-scale acquisitions and integrations into Merrill’s global footprint. John’s global technology teams provided a full range of solutions and support, from hand held devices to data centers, from software solutions to infrastructure management. John served as a member of the executive board for the division and was relationship manager to several key strategic technology partners.

Prior to joining BINEC, John worked for five years at Pinkerton Computer Consultants where he initiated and managed the successful onshore software solutions practice, developing a specialty area for PCCS. John’s model was successfully used across several business verticals, including financial services, insurance and health care.

John holds a BS degree in Quantitative Analysis & Accounting from Fordham University and an MBA in Information Systems from Pace University.

 

Mike Pompilio

Mike Pompilio has nearly 30 years of experience in technology and business consulting, and is expert at helping clients successfully navigate changes to keep ahead of the ever-changing economic tides. A principal at BINEC since 2008, Mike’s had tremendous success consulting for small and large companies across many sectors, with a focus on financial services and insurance.

In his previous role, Mike spent 17 years serving clients at Pinkerton Computer Consultants as Director of Sales and then as a Managing Partner and was instrumental in bringing in new accounts and growing his business in revenues over $12,000,000. In 1998, Mike landed a 3 year enterprise wide Y2K project at a major financial institution that enabled him and his team to build a development center from the ground up that eventually housed up to 60 professionals. Mike studied at Miami Dade College and Upsala University. He is active in professional organizations, networking groups and volunteers for non-profit entities
